The candidates who have cleared SSC CHSL 2017 Tier 1 Examination with marks more than the cut off decide by Staff Selection Commission. Applicants who have been qualified in Tier 1 examination are now getting prepared for SSC CHSL Tier 2 Examination. The Commission has changed the date of Tier 2 exam through an official notification. According to the academic calendar of SSC exams, the Tier 2 exam date was decided on 25th June that has been changed now to 9th July 2017.

 

The Tier - II exam will be conducted on 9th July from 10 to 11 AM at various exam center according to the number of candidates. It will be a descriptive type paper that candidates will have to complete in 1 hour (60 minutes). SSC CHSL 2017 Tier 2 Descriptive Syllabus

 

SSC CHSL Tier 2 2017 will be a descriptive type paper that will carry 100 marks in 60 minutes. The mode of paper will be pen and paper. The candidates mentioned in Para 7 above will get 20 minutes extra for solving the paper. The Tier 2 Examination is organized to check the writing skills of the candidates that are considered important in Government Jobs. The paper will involve an Essay of 200-250 words and a Letter / Application of 150-200 words.

The minimum qualification is set at least 33%. The examination will be conducted in both Hindi and English languages. The candidates will have to attempt both Essay and Letter/ Application either in Hindi or in the English language. Each topic will carry 50 marks. The answer sheet in mixed language will be considered invalid and therefore the candidates will be terminated in Tier 2 examination.
