SRMJEEE 2016 Result will be Released on 1 May 2016

SRMJEEE 2016 Result for the candidates who take the respective examination from 19 April to 25 April 2016 will be declared on 1 May 2016. SRM University, the exam and admissions authority, will declare the result in online mode only on its official website. The result will be issued in the form of score and All India Rank (AIR) in which the candidate will be able to see the rank assigned to him on the basis of marks obtained in the exam. Here are some quick features of the result to be declared by SRM University

• Score part of the  SRMJEEE 2016 Result will show – marks obtained in all the sections, aggregate score, and cutoff.
• Rank part of the result will show – rank obtained by the candidate on the basis of marks obtained.
• Score or rank will not be sent in post or courier to any candidate’s residential postal address.
• The only way to check it is online, either on the official website of EntranceCorner or SRM University.
• All India Rank (AIR) will be sent in the form of SMS to the candidate on his registered mobile number.

How to check Result of SRMJEEE 2016?

The following steps can be taken by the candidate to check result in online mode:

• Open the official website of SRM University on the computer system.
• On the homepage of the site, find and click the link for result or rank.
• Enter roll number, application number, and other asked details correctly.
• Verify the information filled in the details and press submit button.
• Result or rank will be displayed on the screen from where it can be saved.
• Candidate may also choose to take its printout for reference in the future.

The rank and score displayed in SRMJEEE 2016 Result will not be rechecked or reevaluated under any circumstances. The answer sheets of the candidates will be checked through computers and with extreme care. No candidate will be issued a photocopy of his answer sheet. SRM University will reject any such plea from any candidate. Based on the marks obtained in the SRMJEEE 2016 exam, candidates will be scrutinized under cutoff. It is the screening factor which will be applied for two reasons – to restrict the candidate number in the admission process and to pick the best lot for allotment. Merit list will be prepared on the basis of total marks secured by the candidate in SRMJEEE 2016 Result. Arrangement of the candidates in the merit list will be done as per the marking. The candidate with highest score will get rank 1.
