SRMJEE 2019 Schedule, Procedure, Documents required

The candidate needs to register and make payment of required counselling fee to participate in the counselling process. Aspirants have to report at the respective counselling venue where they will be allotted seats on the basis of filled choices and availability of seat. Verification of documents will also be done by the concerned authorities at the SRMJEE Counselling 2019. Admission will be entirely based on the performance of candidates in an entrance exam.

SRMJEE 2019 Counselling Schedule

The schedule for  SRMJEE 2019 counselling is displayed in the table below. Applicants called to attend the counselling process must be aware of these tentative dates.

Procedure of SRMJEE 2019 Counselling

In order to attend SRMJEE 2019 Counselling process, aspirants need to follow below-listed steps:

1.    Qualified applicants of SRMJEE 2019 will have to register online to participate in the counselling process. Registration will be done using application number, rank, programme applied for and date of birth. Once all these details are provided the candidate needs to download the counselling call letter.

2.    Now applicants need to pay an amount of Rs. 2,10,000  which includes registration fees of Rs 10, 000 and tuition fee of the first year of the programme. This payment can be made via online mode through E-Pay facility or via offline mode through Demand Draft in name of “ Sri Ramaswamy Memorial Institute of Science and Technology” payable at Chennai. Payment of counselling fee needs to be made before the candidate report at the allotted counselling venue.

3.    At last, aspirants need to report at the counselling venue according to the given schedule mentioned on the counselling call letter. If any applicant fails to report then he/she will be disqualified from taking admission.

Phase-II of SRMJEEE 2019 Counselling will be conducted in online mode. This phase will be organized for applicants who were allotted seats in the first phase. During this phase, the candidate needs to select courses and colleges as per their preference and interest. SRM University will offer admission depending upon First Come First Serve. Payment of counselling fee needs to be made via online mode only. 

Steps to Participate in SRMJEE 2019 Counselling

Applicants need to follow below-mentioned steps to take part in the Counselling of SRMJEE 2019:

•    Go to the official website of SRM University. (http://www.srmuniv.ac.in/)

•    Click on the Counselling Registration link.

•    A new window will appear on the screen

•    Now download the counselling call letter

•    Take a printout of this letter for future use.

Documents required for verification during SRMJEE 2019 Counselling

The candidate has to carry a number of documents for verification purpose at the time of SRMJEE Counselling 2019 and they are listed below:

•    Class 10th Mark sheet

•    Class 12th Mark sheet

•    Qualifying examination admit card/hall ticket

•    SRMJEEE 2019 Rank Card

•    Counselling call letter

•    Photo identity proof

•    Cancelled cheque leaf with the name of candidate/parent/guardian

•    Receipt of the payment

SRMJEE 2019 Seat Allotment

The conducting authority will allot the seats to applicants. Some key points related to SRMJEE 2019 Seat Allotment are prescribed below:

•    Allotment of seats will be done in offline mode after successful document verification

•    Applicants will be allotted seats based on their performance in the entrance exam, preference of selected choices and availability of seats.

•    In order to confirm the allotted seat for getting admission, an aspirant has to pay remaining tuition fee. Failure to make this payment will directly result in cancellation of candidature.

•    Once the seats are allotted to applicants they cannot make changes to it.
