SRMEEE 2014 Entrance Exam

The SRMEEE 2014 entrance exam is to be conducted in both online and offline modes. In online mode, the exam is scheduled for 17 April 2014 until 22 April 2014 while in offline mode; the exam is scheduled for 27 April 2014. SRMEEE exam is conducted by SRM University located in Kancheepuram, Tamil Nadu. The exam is conducted every year for the candidates who are looking forward to taking admission in all the graduate and postgraduate level courses.

Every candidate who falls in the eligibility criteria can appear for the SRMEEE exam and further go on to take admission in the university. The eligibility criteria are certain parameters pertaining to important aspects have to be fulfilled by the interested candidates. Below mentioned are the eligibility criteria of the SRMEEE 2014 exam:

SRMEEE 2014 Eligibility Criteria

·         The interested candidates have to be a resident of India and have completed the last two year of schooling from any school of India.

·         The candidates must have cleared the qualifying exam, which is the class XIIth exam with Physics, Chemistry and Maths subjects and must have scored minimum of 70% marks in the qualifying exam.

SRMEEE 2014 Application Form:

All the applicants looking forward to filling the application form of SRMEEE 2014 shall do it in the well-defined manner and in the time available. The last dates as mentioned above for filling the form is 15-03-2013. The prospectus of the SRMEEE 2014 exam has been released on 18 November 2013 and the candidates can download the prospectus from the official website.

Following are the modes of making the registration of SRMEEE 2014 exam:

A)     Online Method:

To make the registration of SRMEEE 2014 exam online the applicants are straightway required visiting the official website and clicking on the link of “Online Registration”. In this mode, the candidate is required to download the form and send it to the SRMEEE office after completing the form.

B)      Direct Method:

In this mode, the candidates can avail the form in either of the mode by making a payment of Rs 900.

1.       Visit the designated branches of State Bank of India (SBI), Karur Vysya Bank, City Union Bank, Axis Bank, Indian Bank and post office mentioned on the official website of SRMEEE.

2.       The form can also be availed by making the payment through a demand draft of Rs 900 drawn in favor of SRMIST.

3.       The candidates paying via Demand Draft (DD) should clearly mention their name and address on the back side of the draft and keep a photocopy of the same also they should send the cover letter in advance to the university so that it can be received by the university well in time. C)      Download Method:

In this, method the applicants are required to download the form by visiting the official website and after that they should fill the form attach it with the demand draft drawn in favor of SRMIST payable at Chennai and send them on the official address.

Another important piece of advice for the candidates filling the form is that they should be following all the prescribed guidelines set by the authorities. The candidates opting to make payment in Demand Draft they should keep a photocopy of the form and demand draft for the future references.

·         Entrance Exam of SRMEEE Hall Ticket

·         Date of Birth certificate (class Xth certificate is applicable)

SRMEEE 2014 Result

The result of the SRMEEE 2014 exam is slated for release on 3 May 2014 and the candidates can download it from the official website. Although, the result of the appearing candidates will be send to them in person via SMS but in case they fail to receive the result through SMS, they can easily download it from the official website as and when the authority uploads them.
