Lithium-ion batteries have the truth of cathode and anode materials, so depending on the density of energy or voltage lithium-ion batteries are specified in three different categories. The first is the specific energy density second is the volume energy density, and the third is the specific power density. Specific energy density has the ability to keep 150 to 250 W•h/kgs where as Volumetric energy density has 250 to 620 W•h/l and Specific power density have 300 to 1500 W/kg.
lithium iron phosphate cathode and graphite anode have a Titular open-circuit Electromotive Force of 3.2 V and a typical charging voltage of 3.6 V. Lithium nickel manganese cobalt (NMC) oxide cathodes with graphite anodes have a 3.7 V nominal voltage with a 4.2 V max charge.
