Sourav Ganguly of Libra Legends the finest captain in the world

A great captain is the one, who fights for his players like a belligerent warrior and Sourav Ganguly is the best captain of India has got, He was chosen at a very critical phase of Indian cricket in 2000. He is regarded as one of India's most successful captains in modern times, and one of the greatest ODI batsmen of all time. Under his captaincy, several young"sters"(Zaheer, Yuvraj, Harbhajan, Sehwag) started to play, cemented their place in the team and flourished exceptionally to become the future "stars" of Indian cricket Dada made an excellent team. Ganguly was India’s most aggressive skippers by a mile. In the 1999 Cricket World Cup, he was involved in a partnership of 318 runs with Rahul Dravid, which remains the highest overall partnership score in the World Cup tournament history. Recently The MCL was launched in Dubai, with Wasim Akram, Adam Gilchrist and Brian Lara in attendance as icon players. Jacques Kallis has also been named as an icon player.  MCL schedule for the tournament on January 28 with the grand finale scheduled to be held on February 13 at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium. The opening match will feature Libra Legends and Gemini Arabians, with the likes of Sourav Ganguly, Graeme Swann and Jacques Kallis taking on Virendra Sehwag, Kumar Sangakkara and Muttiah Muralitharan. Former India captain Sourav Ganguly was named captain and ambassador of Libra Legends in the Masters Champions League. Ganguly will lead a team which will have South African iconic allrounder Jacques Kallis, left-arm spinner Nicky Boje, English spinner Graeme Swann, Aussie speedster Shaun Tait, spinner Brad Hogg, Netherlands allrounder Ryan ten Doeschate among others.
