Something About The Bed Size
The general rule of thumb is to
buy the biggest or trendiest bed you can fit into the room. The larger the bed,
the more room you and your partner have to move in the night without troubling
each other. But, what if you have a small bedroom, you might not have room for
a king size bed, even if it’s really what you want. That where the size counts.
There are no constant or common
standards of sizes or names for bed sizes that have to be used in regulation:
the terms that are used are descriptive and there is no assurance that the term
King, for example, will be applied to precisely the same size product by
different bed manufacturers. Metric sizes are not exactly the same as imperial
sizes, either. Many people make this mistake just buying the first thing to have
a place to sleep that night. The bed obviously has to fit in the bedroom. And
don’t forget to leave enough space to easily get in and out of the room and to
allow for opening windows, cupboards and closets. Remember that you will also
need to open the bedroom door. It sounds silly, but it’s an easy mistake to
make.
To find the best for you, ask
friends, great research, go for reviews, lie on some in the stores, spend a
night in a good hotel, and try as many as you can. In this way you will progress
your food of thought and you will send your money wisely. Remember, size does
not only mean the width but also the length of the bed, which should be 10-15
centimeter longer than the tallest sleeper.
