Some Changes Should Be Made in School Curriculum to Better Education

by Vinod Kumar Digital Marketing Expert

A curriculum is widely defined in education as the entirety of student experiments during the educational process. The phrase is frequently used to describe a pre-planned teaching sequence or a perspective on a student's experiences about the educator's or school's instructional goals.

The planned engagement of learners with instructional content, materials, resources, and mechanisms for evaluating the accomplishment of educational objectives may be included in the curriculum.

The explicit, implicit (including hidden), excluded, and extra-curricular components of the curriculum are divided into many groups for which changes are needed in the school curriculum for better education.

And if the question comes to the mind, “What's the need for curriculum change?” Read on to know more!

Why does the curriculum need change?

Because our World is continuously changing, is the quick explanation. Our pupils must be able to adapt to change. What better way for children to learn about change than to observe it in action?

1. It is no longer relevant.

2. The demand for information alters

3. Brings in a bigger picture of innovations.

3. The solution for keeping kids involved.

4. Technological developments.

5. Changes in the World.

7. Priority shifts.

8. The nature of study skills is changing too.

9. Mugging up or saying no rote learning.

10. One-to-one approach with technology and teaching every child the purpose of education.

So, what are the changes required in the school curriculum? Let's read on to know better.

Changes required:

#1) Teaching and Teacher Quality:

A student's like or dislike for a subject is related to the teacher and his method of instruction. Training in current teaching aids, techniques, and approaches connected with technology should be emphasized so that more individuals become interested in teaching as a profession. So, choosing schools where the guide is the best is the first step towards improvisation of the curriculum, like in some of the SSC Hindi Medium School.

#2) Learning based on skills:

Allowing schools to give skill-based training is a good idea. Recognizing a student's areas of interest is the best way to go about it. If someone is interested in fixing mobile phones, a mobile engineering degree should be available. If someone enjoys trying their hand at handcraft products, instruction should be made available for them, and so on. One thing is sure with skill-based training: self-employment!

#3) Basic Computer Skills Classes are available for free:

We advise this point for a straightforward reason. Because we live in the Information Technology era, schooling would be incomplete without some basic computer skills. Computers are omnipresent, so why not teach them using them? Our students should have access to them, as it is needed, be it in accounting, engineering, teaching, or simple back-office work.

#4) Health course:

Health education is another area that needs attention and development. We should strive to incorporate Yoga or other forms of exercise into our educational system so that youngsters understand the importance of good health and how to preserve it.

#5) Smart Classes:

While many Indian SSC Hindi medium schools and institutes currently use this concept, we need to go to the next stage and connect all educational establishments to it. We can make our pupils study and comprehend in a much better and current way with various audio-video equipment, multimedia ideas, and other critical IT aspects.

#6) E-libraries:

Introducing this concept into our educational system would be highly beneficial since it will allow anybody to access books and essential study material from anywhere easily. Furthermore, E-libraries may be readily updated with new materials and books. Visit the website if already this change is done in the school you desire.

#7) Emphasize Sports as a subject:

Last but not least, we should endeavor to make sports compulsory in our educational system. It will not only assist students in pursuing a successful professional path, but it will also benefit our country in the long term! Furthermore, this option will provide work for many outstanding athletes who were previously unable to pursue a career in sports due to a variety of factors.

Wrapping up!

Education at all levels, not only high schools but various SSC Hindi medium Schools, one of which is Kudilal Govindram Seksaria Sarvodaya School, has the actual ability to achieve tremendous heights throughout the country. Remember that ancient India's education system left an indelible imprint on the globe. So, why not set another educational milestone by adding some additional improvements? We can surely elevate our education system to new heights with minimal effort, preparation, hard work, and a positive mindset!

With over 1000 institutions, India already boasts the World's most extensive higher education system.
