The best quality Exotic Alloy 200/201 Tubing has robust strength and is a commercially pure wrought material. They have excellent magnetic and mechanical properties. Also, they exhibit excellent corrosion resistance in an alkaline solution like caustic soda. Exotic 200/201 alloy tubing has excellent resistance to caustic alkalies at varying temperatures and concentrations. The alloy 200/201 tubing has good resistance against wholly pure halogen gas and non-oxidizing acid. The element restrictions of these alloys are combined in qualified twofold chemistry, resulting in a single alloy having the required features of both metals.

Both 200 and 201 alloys resist corrosion in minimizing and neutral media and an oxidizing atmosphere, so the oxidizing media allows passive oxide film formation. This offers great material resistance in corrosive environments. Typical applications of exotic alloy 200/201 tubing are electronic and electroplating components, caustic evaporators, food processing equipment, caustic handling and storage equipment, synthetic fibre production, salt production and other processes where fluorine and sodium hydroxide are used.

The C276 Plate is made from a blend of high molybdenum and chromium content, along with the addition of tungsten. This combination makes the plate highly resistant to chloride stress corrosion cracking, pitting, crevice corrosion and general corrosion. It is one of the most universally corrosion-resistant materials available for applications such as chemical and petrochemical processing, flue gas desulfurization, pulp and paper equipment, and industrial waste and air pollution control.

The plate also has good high-temperature strength and moderate oxidation resistance, although the alloy will eventually form brittle at high-temperature precipitates. It has excellent corrosion resistance in both oxidizing and reducing environments. The plate can operate in the oxidizing atmosphere up to 1900⁰F, but it lacks sufficient chromium content to operate successfully in the most strongly oxidizing environments like hot, concentrated nitric acid.

The low carbon content of the Alloy c276 Plate enables the alloy to be utilized in the as-welded condition. It can be easily welded and processed using standard shop fabrication practices for austenitic stainless steels and nickel-based alloys.
