Sodium Citrate, CAS# 68-04-2, is a organic chemicals manufactured through fermentation, available as Colorless or white crystalline granule or crystalline powder odorless. Sodium Citrate is widely used as acidulants. It is widely accepted as safe food acidulant in many countries with E number E331.
General Side Effects
- Ingestion of sodium citrate in large quantity may leads to high blood sodium level and blood ph level imbalance.
- Prolonged using of Sodium Citrate may increase risk of renal failure when used in large quantity.
