Small Emerging Businesses Attend Business Growth Workshop
Heading into National Small Business Week

Jacksonville, FL -- A group of local emerging small businesses gathered at the Edward Ball Building on Thursday, September 10th to attend a business growth workshop to learn a proven framework to increase sales and results. Hosted by Rock My Image and led by Digital Marketer Certified Trainers, Kenny Harper and Manny Torres, the workshop helped participants identify a path to lasting business success. .

The workshop was a collaboration between the Small Business Development Center of UNF and the Jacksonville Small Emerging Business organizations. Both organizations focus on helping local businesses find the resources and information they need to succeed in today’s competitive business landscape. With Small Business Week starting September 22, the workshop was aptly timed to help local businesses expand their offerings.

Nine local business owners attended the 4 hour workshop, which educated participants on the 3 elements of the Growth Triad and the 8 steps of the Customer Value Journey. These tools and strategies empowered attendees to examine their business’s strengths and develop a plan for scaling up. Participating business types ranged from professional consults to residential and commercial construction, making this workshop an exciting cross-section of Jacksonville’s local business economy.

Participants will join small businesses across the country as they participate in National Small Business Week September 22-24. The SBA-backed event will include a free Virtual Conference that will coverRecovery, Adaptation, and Innovation.
