The bible verses all reflect the value and sanctity of life, this is why we are referred to speak up for people who can not speak for others. However, some of the forgotten truth ministries use the wisdom of Proverbs and the poetry of the Psalms to provide people with clear words on the subject.

In the bible verses that follow, we see the reason to focus on the forgotten, oppressed, and downcast. Let these Bible verses protect us as Christians to love our sisters and brothers. With the word of truth ministries, we will love everyone, as we share six bible verses to guide people who speak up for the voiceless.

The voiceless

The fatherless, the needy, and even the windows are considered as people who have little value to the society of the time in history in the Bible. Since their voices were not allowed among the public gathering, the word of truth ministries sees the need to speak for people who are not being able to be heard today. Remember our Lord takes care of the voiceless.

● Proverbs 14:31

“Whoever oppresses a poor people taunts their Maker, but he who is kind to the needy honors him.”

● Psalm 146:9

“The Lord takes care of strangers; He protect both the widow and the fatherless, but he frustrates the ways of the wicked.”

The way to speak up

As the Bible promotes us to love others as we love ourselves, it is important to consider caring for others as we would want them to care for us. This is can be a helpful guide for people to speak up for the voiceless. From the womb to the tomb we care for all who are treated differently.

● Proverbs 31:8-9

“Open your mouth to speak for those who can not speak for themselves, for word of the truth of all who are destitute. Talk, judge equally, protect the rights of the needy or poor.”

● Proverbs 3:27-28

“Avoid withholding good from people to whom it is due when you have the responsibility to act. When you have something that your neighbor is asking for, do not say, ‘Go, and come again, tomorrow I will give it.”

How speaking up makes a difference?

As we trust in God, it makes it easy to feel like we are making a difference, but the truth is, if you bless others it will return to you either tomorrow or in the future. This is why we should always keep doing good as It will have positive results on everyone involved.

● Proverbs 11:25 –

“Whoever brings blessing will be blessed, and one who waters will be watered as well.”

● Proverbs 14:21 –

“Whoever hates his neighbor is a trespasser, but blessed is he who is good to the voiceless.”
