All too many of the Blogs I have seen online follow exactly the same old formulas, miss fundamental elements of successful blogging, and simply don’t bring in the leads or cashflow that they have the potential to do.

Here are some fast, simple blog tips for successful optimization you can take to increase traffic and conversions on your Blog today.

#1 Target a Specific Niche

*Network Marketing is a very competitive niche.

*Much of the competition has a huge head start in terms of time, experience, and resources.

*Target smaller niches within the network marketing industry.

* Lead Generation, Sponsoring for Beginners, and Network Marketing Recruiting Training are all good examples of smaller niches within the network marketing category.

*All of those target a smaller group, but have a far more specific focus, far higher chance of getting you high search rankings, and returning you laser targeted traffic.

**Take a little time to do some keyword research to make the most of this tip.

#2 Optimize Your Blog Title and Tagline

*Once you’ve refined your niche, redesign your blog title and tagline to reflect it.

*Do this in the General Settings tab in your WordPress dashboard by editing your blog title and description.

*For example, Recruiting Tips with (your name)’ is a much better blog title than just your name.

*Visitors can immediately see what your blog is about, and Google will give extra weight to all your posts related to the subjects of  Recruiting and Tips.

*To build a tagline on that, simply add a few more keywords.

**In our example, the tagline could be  Recruiting Tips | Network Marketing Lead Generation. That gives plenty of keywords which will help all your content rank higher, as well as giving your visitors a clear insight into the topics you’re covering.

#3 Improve your Header and Opt-In Graphics

*The impact when new visitors come to your blog and see a simple, original logo is massive.

*Use the same logo and graphic style across other platforms too (Twitter, Facebook Fan-Page etc

#4 Improve Navigation within your blog

*People are lazy.

*If they can’t see your content easily, many will simply click away just as fast as they arrived on your blog.

*Add a widget in the sidebar with a selection of your best content – 5 to 10 of your favorite posts.

**Extra tip: If you want to get clever with it, use the principle keywords in each heading as the anchor text link, to help improve rankings of those posts in Google. A keyword anchor text link from every page in your blog will give those posts a serious boost…

#5 Choose Your Affiliate Ads Wisely

*Too many Blogs are plastered with banners for hosting, domain names, autoresponders, etc.

*Don’t make this mistake on yours, unless you’ve already built up a strong readership and following.

*Too many ads puts people off, and has a significant negative impact on credibility and trust.

*Instead, select only a few banners for products or courses which you really believe in, and scrap the rest.

#6 Write About Your Prospect’s Problems

*Human’s are hardwired to take more action based on moving away from their fears and problems than they are moving towards their ideals.

*Engage your readers by identifying and writing about their problems in as much detail as you can to build trust, familiarity, and then lead them to the solution – joining your team, taking a training, attending a webinar, signing up for your free newsletter…

#7 Publish More Content, More Regularly

*Publish new content two or three times a week as a minimum if you want to really make blogging work as a business building strategy.

*Not all posts have to be killer articles, some can be short, bite-sized tips, a few hundred words or so.

*Writing some regular longer posts is a good idea too, articles which share massive value and are built to rank and attract serious traffic.

*It helps to have a posting schedule – same days, and even the same times every week, and then stick to it.

*That way your readers know when to check in, and are more likely to continue coming back for more.

**Set aside some regular time to pick up tips from SEO, networking, copywriting and traffic generation blogs and you’ll be able to to outrank and out convert your competitors.

Hope you enjoyed these tips! HAPPY BLOGGING!
