Problem 1: TP700 Conform Problems to start
Q: VICPAS have a TP700 Conformt, when it turns on, it
can not start, In a normal start, 11 frames of the boot screen light up. What
can I do for it?
A: At first you can try to reset to factory settings,
visit the Siemens Website URL
How do you do an operating system update on
operator panels or perform a "Reset to factory settings"?
Else you will have to send it back to Siemens:
Siemens
Support Suggest
If the screen of panel shows thegridand text
"SIMATIC HMI" ,it is not possible to do a reset to factory settings
and you should send it to the repair center.
Problem 2: Accessing Network from TP700 Problem
Q: VICPAS
is supposed to use TP700 to write files to an external drive which is located
on the network. At the moment I am testing it locally on my laptop. On my laptop
I have created a folder which I share with all users.
If on my TP I open
Explorer and type in the address bar my laptops NAME followed by order name
then it opens and I can see its contents.
But If I try to use my
laptops IP address instead of name then I get an error Message "Windows CE
Networking -> Bad network path. Check to see if the path
........................................"
Example:
\\MaLaptoptName\Destination\-
this is working ok
\\192.168.1.102\Destination\-
this is not working.
At the same time I can
ping this IP address.
Is this a problem because
it is only local or is it syntax error (too many/too view backslashes for
example)
Using Tia V13 SP1 UP9
A: Please have a look at
the following link:
How do
you integrate an HMI operator panel into a local network?
Perhaps it might help.
Problem 3: Siemens TP700 Confort Tag limitation Problem
Q: VICPAS is using TP700 confort with s7-200
cup. The limitation is 512 tags for tp700, I am having 600+.... Is there any
way I can extend the tag limitation? Put a memory flash card? How does it work?
A: According to the
technical specifications of the tp700 comfort, it supports up to 2048 tags,
although only I think only 400 of them can be used on the screen at the same
time.
I got a message shows in attached picture.
Says too many tags (Powertags) have been configured. Wincc Runtime Advanced 512
powertags v13.0.
That message is just for the HMI simulator.
It uses a PC runtime to simulate the panel HMI. The PC runtime normally is
licensed by tag count, but for simululation, you can usually live with the nag
window every 15 min or so. It should work fine, and you shouldn't need a
license when you download to the actual comfort panel.
Note: tag logging and recipes do require a
license on the panel.
As a general rule to save tags you can
generate some generic tags in the CPU and copy data to them dependent on the
screen number being displayed. This can save you hundreds of tags.
