Should I Rejoin The Gym?
by Neighborhood Trainers Finding a trainer is a personal choiceNYC fitness buffs have probably heard that work is
underway to reopen up gyms all over the city. While gyms were technically allowed to reopen on
September 2, they aren’t actually able to open up their doors for business
without going through an inspection mandated by the state.
Many gyms are still not opened up just yet, as the city
is understandably putting priority on inspecting and opening up schools. In
time, you can expect your favorite gym to have its doors open again if it
doesn’t already. You might be aware that there are also going to be a good
number of restrictions at gyms that are open, and these restrictions will limit
what you can do at the gym.
The Pros and Cons of Going Back to the Gym
To decide whether you should try to go back to the gym
or not, think about your current workout situation versus how you did things
when you went to the gym. Did you do your workout routine alone, or did you
work with a personal trainer weight loss Bronx professional in a
group training class?
If you did most of your workouts alone, then you will
probably be fine to return to the gym as long as you take the proper
precautions. You’ll have to wear your mask and continue to social distance from
your fellow gym-goers when you enter the gym.
If you used to work out in groups, you will have to
continue using alternative options, since group activities in the gym are still
not allowed. Instead, you can continue to work with your favorite personal trainers NYC in an outdoor and
socially-distanced group environment, or you can keep doing online training if
that is how you have been doing your training routine.
