Self-Taught Programmer Explores the Tech Entrepreneur Route, Creates E-Commerce & Affiliate Marketpl

While there’s no doubt about the fact that learning some coding skills will be a matter of economic survival in the very near future, true to the natural development cycle of any piece of technology, some coders have duly demonstrated just exactly what can be done with the basic knowledge they acquire with regards to the use of the tech they have access to. You wouldn’t have to look too far to witness the effects of an entrepreneurial mind which meets acquired programming skills, with a living example of the rekindling of two old lovers in tech and business manifesting in the form of a very basic e-commerce store that boasts affiliate marketing capabilities.

That’s certainly the case with what is indicatively a very little-known company based in South Africa, trading under the name Enigmazure (Pty) Ltd, but what’s evidently extraordinary about this growing tech company is its founder and technical director, Mr. BJ. Lubisi.

Banelisiwe J Lubisi learned how to code in the LAMP stack, which stands for Linux, Apache, MySQL and PHP and, as his practical application project he built an e-commerce platform!

At first glance one would very quickly and justifiably want to claim that it’s nothing extraordinary, but upon closer look you’d very quickly realise that it isn’t just a regular e-commerce platform through which products and services can be bought and sold online.

“Well, I thought I’d take things two steps further,” explained Lubisi in reference to what is essentially a double Content Management System (CMS) built into the e-commerce site.

“Firstly, I wanted to cash-in on the marketing genius I knew a lot of people who could sign up as affiliates possess, so that they could earn the both of us money by promoting and selling the listed products for up to 75% commission,” the tech entrepreneur continued, joining us via video call from an extended ‘workcation’ in Phuket Island, Thailand.

“Secondly, I wanted to package this whole E-Commerce & Affiliate Marketing site into something of a ‘biz-in-a-box’ solution so that I could either sell it to other entrepreneurs who might not know how to code and want to run their very own versions of business models such as those of Amazon, Alibaba, eBay, and lesser-known ones like Click2Sell....Oh, I’m forgetting ClickBank...”

Lubisi’s truly entrepreneurial spirit shone through when he decided that he’d try and create passive income streams through the fractional licensing of the software script he built to operate online stores that incorporated affiliate selling, by simply giving away the licences on condition that whomever grabs one of these licences ‘kicks-up’ 10% of the revenue their e-commerce and affiliate marketplace site makes. It sounds like more than a fair deal because in essence what it means is that budding web entrepreneurs who otherwise don’t have the money to purchase what can be a very costly online business of this sort can essentially get it for free, try it out with the all the guidance they need form the developer and only really pay for it once they start making a profit, 10% at a time.

In an online business world fraught with scams and income generation opportunities that simply don’t work, this is a rather refreshing demonstration of how things can be done legitimately.

Lubisi is only giving away a total of 1,000 of these licences under the 90/10% profit-split arrangement, while a further 500 are being sold outright to web entrepreneurs who might want to keep all of the profits they make from their own e-commerce & affiliate marketing platform.
