PT Saraswanti Anugerah Makmur Tbk (PT SAM Tbk), established in Sidoarjo in 1998, is a national private company engaged in marketing and fertilizer industry. Since its inception, PT SAM Tbk has been designed to produce fertilizer products that have advantages over other fertilizer products.

In assembling quality NPK fertilizer, the R&D of PT Saraswanti Anugerah Makmur Tbk together with a team of experts, conducted studies, discussions, raw material research, repeated production trials, and conducted a series of studies such as soil tests, plant experiments, both on a greenhouse and wide scale. Since 1999, PT SAM Tbk has collaborated with the Sugar Plantation Research Center in Pasuruan, the Indonesian Rubber Research Center in Medan, the Coffee & Cocoa Research Center in Jember, and the Palm Oil Research Center in Medan, because in these research institutions are stored intellectual property and millions of databases of nutritional properties of plantation plants, which can be used in concocting high-quality NPK fertilizers.

The R&D escort of PT SAM Tbk is carried out since the sampling of soil, leaves and analysis in the internal lab, then information collection and discussions with potential consumers are carried out. Thus it will be able to determine the most appropriate fertilizer formulation for consumer-owned plantations.
