Samsung finally gets rid of the most subpar feature of its Galaxy devices

Samsung's foldable gadgets have surpassed sales estimates and set new ones. The South Korean behemoth will undoubtedly be lauded for its new technologies. The Galaxy Z Flip and Z Fold series not only have a beautiful design but also have high-end features that make them a must-have for anyone who can afford a somewhat more expensive handset. One thing we can assure you of is that if you decide to buy a foldable device, you will receive your money's worth.

The South Korean Company’s apps, which come pre-installed on most of its phones, have long been plagued by advertisements. However, it appears that the business has reversed its decision and is again deleting banner adverts from some apps.

Samsung removes the most horrid feature of its Galaxy devices

Banner adverts in the Samsung Weather and Samsung Pay applications abruptly vanished, according to Galaxy phone owners who posted on Samsung's Community Forums. Samsung Health, Samsung Themes, and the Members app no longer have advertising on my S21 Ultra.

Sources also discovered a comment from a forum moderator confirming that adverts will be eliminated on October 1st. “This is the Samsung Health Operation Manager,” says the narrator. The moderator stated, "Please note that the banner at the top of the Samsung Health app will no longer be offered as of October 1st."

Samsung verified to reliable sources in August that apps from its Pay, Theme and Weather apps would be removed "later this year." Samsung's head of mobile, Roh Tae-moon, said in a meeting with staff that the company was "finding new development prospects in the domains of content and advertising services such as games and media to expand the integrated Galaxy ecosystem experience."

Summing Up

One of Samsung's more contentious decisions has been the inclusion of advertisements in its apps, especially since some of its top-end hardware costs more than $1000. Users have frequently complained about advertising appearing in unexpected places, including the stock dialer app. Other than this the Galaxy devices work seamlessly and users can carry out functions such as SMS Share without any trouble.

Ads may play a part in lowering the initial price on a less expensive item, as is the case with most popular 'free' products. However, it's more difficult to justify the Korean company's flagship gadgets, including its pricey foldable technology. Especially when only a few other major smartphone manufacturers follow suit.
