Salt Nic Juice Guide- Nicotine Strength, Consumption, Shelf Life

by Aanya Alberto A geeky girl and Vape Enthusiast

Ejuice is one of the primary components in a vape device. Without it, the device would be just a gadget that’s of no use.

E-liquid is made out of some important ingredients. You can categorize these as flavorings, PG/VG, sweeteners and nicotine.

Vape juice, e-liquid or e-juice is the liquid that you use in the e-cigs. It turns into vapor giving you a good vaping experience.

Before you set forth to buying salt nic juice, there are things you must know about the e-juice. All vaping, irrespective of the size or look of the device, it requires the presence of e-juice to make vapor.

What’s in the vape juice?

Finding about the vape juice ingredients is primary. These include propylene glycol (PG) and vegetable glycerine (VG).  Some of the vape juices neither come in 100% VG nor 100% PG.

Most of the e-juices always come in a perfect combination of PG and VG. In fact, the premium e-juices offer a good balance of e-juices. You can either get these in 70/30 VG/PG ratio.

Know how much you consume

When you are buying salt nic juice, find out how much e-juice you are actually consuming in a day.

The easiest way would be to calculate it by multiplying the no. of tankful you actually go through per day with the tank capacity.

Moreover, if you cannot find your tank capacity, try searching it online or you can find it out from the customer assistance providers of the online vape shop. Most of the sites have it clearly mentioned on the site.

For instance, if you are vaping 3ml of 6mg/ml e-juice per day: 3ml x 6mg/ml = 24mg of nicotine per day

Now, even if this calculation is helpful. You actually don’t need it since it is your body who can judge the nicotine consumption. It would tell you when you have had enough.

Does the vape juice expire?

Yes, e-juices actually go bad. But it is not like your food going bad. Thankfully, vape juice is shelf stable. However, it might just change color and turn brown over time, but it doesn’t mean this has expired.

Normally, the e-liquid lasts really long. Moreover, if you buy it from a reputed brand and manufacturer, it would definitely last long than others.

Most often an e-juice lasts for around two years from the time of manufacturer. Of course, the salt nic juice you are investing on don’t like sunlight, oxygen or heat. So, please keep it away from these and enjoy vaping.

Buying e-juice is not a rocket science, all you need to do is proper research to find your potential consumption, the nicotine strength you need, etc.
