The data say that the number of American soldiers killed in Iraq and Afghanistan in 2001 and 2012 was 6,488 while the number of American women killed by former men during the year was 11,766. That number is more than twice the number of victims lost during the war.

15% of victims of domestic violence are male and 85% are female. This proves that women are more likely to be victims of violence than intimate partners. There are many women who accept domestic violence, such as emotional abuse, financial abuse, physical violence, and a combination of these three.

This is a serious problem that will not disappear quickly. Harassment and domestic violence should not occur. The CDC came out with a startling report that half of the women's casualties were committed by intimate partners. The report also proves that black women have been killed at a higher rate than other races. Black women were killed at level 4.4 per 100,000 people.

The American Psychological Association notes the number of women experiencing physical violence in their lives is 4,774,000.
