Royal Enfield Himalayan: Brief Review

Royal Enfield Himalayan launched in India on 16 March 2016 is powered by a an all-new 411cc, air and oil-cooled single cylinder engine that churn out maximum 24.50 bhp power @ 6,500 rpm and torque of 32 Nm @ 4,500 rpm. It is the first ever bike manufactured in India designed and developed for adventure, and meant specifically for being ridden on the worst roads.

Royal Enfield Himalayan price is Rs. 1,63,200 (ex-showroom Mumbai) and expected to reach very soon at local showrooms of major cities of India. It features 12V - 8AH VRLA battery and 12V H4 60/55W Halogen and Bulb headlight. The newly launched bike rolled-out with disc brakes on both rear and front wheel for more safety.

Other features of bikes are Low Battery Indicator, average speed display, side stand indication, digital tripmeter, Low Oil Indicator, and LED Brake/Tail Light. Currently, the bike is introduced in snow and granite colors.
