Speak of the Royalties across the world and the name of London is bound to arise. Great Britain used to be an empire which was said to be so huge and widespread that sun could not go set on the empire at any point of time. Well, for those who think this to be a bit of an exaggeration might like to check out the countries under the colonial rule of the British during their peak time. Even though the time is long gone and Britain is just another country in the vast free world, the royal tag with its name has prevailed. So has the attribute of being the royal capital with London.

London today is one of the most visited of all cities in the world and features towards the top of the list of top 10 tourist destinations in the world on a regular basis. One of the major reasons behind this craze of visiting London is certainly the innumerable attractions spreading all across the vast city. Adding to is the fact that it is one of the few cities in the world which still has got palaces where you will find a Queen living. Well, Buckingham Palace is indeed the home to the Queen of England, even though the position is merely an ornamental one.

London is home to a number of royal attractions as well. Besides the most prominent one, the Buckingham Palace, there are other palaces and royal parks and gardens all across the city. One of the best parts about these special attractions is that most of them are free to check out. The tours of the royal palaces might cost you something, but that is not an exorbitant price that you will be paying. The royal parks and gardens are mostly free for the public and you will be able to check them out and enjoy various activities at those places almost at zero cost.

Among the many royal parks and gardens there are a couple of them in the heart of the city which takes the headlines quite often. The Hyde Park and the Kensington Garden, located adjacent to each other and separated just by the Serpentine Lake, are two most beautiful as well as most popular royal parks in the city. Since the location is in the heart of the city it is easy to get to from any part of London. Mainly between summer and spring the royal parks remain busy with various activities. It is this time of the year when the Serpentine Lake is also open to the public and they may indulge in various water sports and activities. Besides that, both the royal parks provide enough entertainment and recreational option. Those who love nature will love the view of the entire green space. The water body also plays host to a large number of birds. Some are native of the royal parks while others fly to the place every year. You may even try horse riding and other sports at these spaces.

Kensington luxury hotel is certainly the best choice if you have already fallen in love with this place. It provides perfect accommodation and also offers great connectivity to other parts of the city.

As a tourist I love checking in to the Park Grand London Kensington. It is not only one of the finest in the area, but also is one of the best rates hotels in the city.
