Round Paper Tablecloths

We are frequently asked about the availability of round paper tablecloths, and more specifically, why the round shaped products available from our competitors are not especially cost effective. The reasoning for this is really quite simple; paper tablecloths are cut from a large master roll. Creating a round paper tablecloth is basically involves taking what would be cut as a square tablecloth and trimming into a circular shape. Although there are companies which stock these items, the prices reflect the fact that the production process results in a large amount of paper waste.

Assuming that one of our square disposable paper tablecloths would not be wide enough to cover the table with the appropriate overhang; it is possible to use one of our banqueting rolls to cover the area. We normally recommend that the banquet roll is laid in a cross formation, 2 (or more) ways across the table to provide the necessary coverage. This has the advantage of being far more cost effective, especially when it comes to covering a larger number of tables.

For a high quality silk finish we would recommend using one of our Disposilk banquet rolls for this purpose, giving you a quality wipable covering where a premium appearance is desired.
