Robots Are Changing The World's Future In Amazing Ways
Despite the bad rap Hollywood has given robots in the last few years, there currently is no evidence to suggest that they will be taking over the world anytime soon. Robot scientists and engineers are coming up with new and changing ways to utilize robotics to better human life. In reality, robots are going to help and save humans in the future as opposed to the opposite prediction that movies over emphasize.
Most of the new robot technology is turned only towards helping humans. Robots are built as tools to aid humans. The “tools” are now evolving to the point where they can do amazing things. Not only have they been used for decades to help manufacture many of our everyday items, robots, and robotic technology is now being used to help cure health ailments and repair injuries in humans.
Robots are everywhere, there are already a large number of tasks that we could not do without them. Technology has recently brought us robots that have many uses. For years robots were implemented into manufacturing lines mainly because they were more accurate, quicker and more efficient with most manufacturing tasks. These days robots can be designed to complete tasks that are hazardous to humans.
Police utilize robots to help them with a variety of dangerous tasks. Robots are built to go into a building that has a bomb in it and defuse the explosive. Police robots are now designed to go into hostage situations and ignite flash bombs to defuse the hostage situation safely with minimal casualties.
There is new technology that emphasizes building robots for hazardous human tasks. There are robots that can keep human workers safe from radiation poisoning in nuclear plants. Robots can now be specially designed to complete tasks before that only human was fit to do. There is a new prototype of a robot out there that can be used in disaster relief situations. If there is a bad enough disaster and people need to be rescued, it is safer to send in a robot to complete the rescue than endangering more human lives.
The military has also been able to perfect robotic technology in ways to assist with homeland defense. There are robots that do similar tasks as police robots do in war situations. There is a robot tank that does wonders to keep soldiers safe while at war. There is much speculation that one day there will be ground soldiers that are remote controlled robot army men. This would allow a ground battle to be fought by humans with hand controls that were at a safe location.
Robots also can complete tasks that are maybe not hazardous but perhaps tedious. There are robots in hospitals that scoot supplies around from room to room. There are robots that calm down those with disabilities. It is just a matter of time before the ultimate nurse robot is used on a wide scale.
Robots have also changed the toy industry. Now there is a plethora of options of robotic toys from tanks that shoot plastic pellets to remote control dinosaurs to “baby bots.” There are robots designed that can be controlled by motion of a hand. Many other robots can get controlled by an app on a smartphone.
There are many ways that robot technology has crossed over with mobile app technology. Top Indian app developers now make apps specifically to control robots and other objects. App development has become yet again more technical. Mobile app developers are now tasked with writing code that syncs to a robot or another object. Android application development is an industry that is growing and changing just as fast as the robot industry is.
Every day it seems, there are more and more app developers India that are coming up with new and creative ways to utilize mobile apps. The Android application development industry now has to have multiple tricks up its sleeves. Not only do they have to design code that caters to specific needs, app development now requires integrating the mobile app's code with other things such as three-dimensional video and robots.
Drones are another example of robotic technology hard at work. There are drones out now that can fly super high and take high-quality video. There are drones designed that can transport things. The online bookstore company, Amazon.com has been working on delivery drones. Drones are also used to fly into areas and gather information.
NASA has utilized robots for years to aid in their space exploration efforts. Robots can be sent to places where humans would not survive to gather information. Robots can be built to where they are not as easily harmed as humans to complete tasks in outer space.
Robotic technology has also been developed to aid human bodily functions. There are ways using robotic technology to cure color blindness. There is also the technology available that can give humans certain “super powers.” The “cyborg” fad is growing and there are thousands of humans that have permanently installed robotic equipment into their bodies to help them in some way.
Many speculate that one day robots will be designed more to help keep humans company. There have been rumors swarming around the technical world saying that by the year 2020, the technology will be available to build robots that exactly resemble human beings. Some believe that this will lead to humans purchasing robots as companions and even lovers!
Robot lovers might be crossing the line but in the near future, there will be robots designed that can complete almost any human job. Hollywood has helped us come up with some of these as well. Nanny-bots, Robocop, nurse and doctor robots... All of these things are not as far away in the future from becoming a reality as people have thought.
The point is here that the future of robotic technology is turning toward a way that robots are being designed only to help out the human population. Before robots will go rogue and destroy the world they will help save our planet. One day robots will be everywhere doing more and more things humans have stopped doing.
The robot industry has taken a major sway towards being the opposite of evil killer bots. The fact that the emphasis on building robots is to design them to help and not harm should keep the evil robots from gaining control. If there ever were evil killer robots there would probably be more hero bots out there that would help save their human creators.
The future of robotics is somewhat unclear. However, it is safe to say that the Hollywood depiction of the future of robots is not accurate. Robots will continue to be constructed to help and save humans but never harm them.
