  2. Erroneous Login credentials: When the issue is with the login credentials, ensure that the login credentials entered by you are correct. The password and email id are case sensitive, and you must enter the correct details. So make sure that you have entered the correct one. 
  3. Improper configuration of servers: If the issue has transpired due to the inappropriate configuration of servers, ensure that you correct the configuration manually or put it to the automatic to resolve the error.
  4. Erroneous IMAP or POP settings: If the issue has occurred due to the inaccurate IMAP or POP settings, make sure you enter the settings manually. Incorrect settings can be a significant reason for the occurrence of the issue. 

Road Runner POP Settings

  • Open the roadrunner email on your device 
  • Click on the settings
  • Select the manual server settings 
  • Click on the POP settings.
  • Construct the account type as POP or POP3
  • Modify the incoming server mail to twc.com
  • Modify the incoming server port to 110
  • Mark security type as none for the port
  • Modify the outgoing server to twc.com
  • Modify the outgoing server port to 587
  • Mark the security type as None
  • Enter the roadrunner email address
  • Enter the password
  • Click on the done, and you are done with POP settings

Roadrunner IMAP settings

  • Open the roadrunner email on your device
  • Enter the login credentials 
  • Click on the manual setup option
  • Un-tick the automatic configuration 
  • Select the IMAP settings and make the configurations as follows:
  • Mark the account type as IMAP
  • Modify the incoming server to twc.com
  • Modify the incoming mail server port to 143
  • Mark the security type as SSL/TLS and security type as None
  • Modify the outgoing server to twc.com
  • Modify the outgoing port to 587
  • Modify the security type to none and mark the insecure port as none
  • Enter the email id and password
  • Deselect the option of the secure server 
  • Deselect the option of the verified certificate
  • After the authentication by the SMTP server, you will be taken to the next step
  • Enter the credentials again
  • Click Next 
  • Enter the account name to be displayed, and you are done.
