Renovation of the House Is To Improve the Level of Comfort
by Paul Toomey Marketing ManagerAfter
buying a house and paying back the entire loan you are free for renovation. Now
think what all is necessary to increase the comfort of the dwellers. The
bathroom fittings, electrical accessories and many other old things have to be
changed. There is a lot of improvement in technology these days. Due to
globalization, there are many things available in the market. Things which are
cheaper and attractive improve your way of living. There are many things to be
recycled or reused in the house. The things which are good but have become old, can be put into some other place or kept it in the store as a stand-by.
Re-use To Be Eco-Friendly
If
there is room to improve the living space then add another room or expand the
space. If the car is kept in the open garage then try to put a roof on it.
There may be a lot of building materials in the attic or the storeroom. Try to
reuse such things to save some money. Due to the storage of old things, there
may be a circulation of toxic gases inside the house. Try to get the LPG out of
the house, detergents and dishwashers also give out some unfriendly gases. It
is better to use baking soda and vinegar for cleaning purposes. Place indoor
plants inside the house which considerably reduces this toxic gas effect.
If
you are remodeling or renovating the house, try to use the old materials to
avoid more spillage of money and to be eco-friendly. Tiles, wood, pipes and
many other materials can be re-used. These materials can stand for decades
without any problem. Wooden or metal doors do not have any resale price.
Instead of selling it or giving it off freely, use them in any part of the
house. By recycling and reusing the materials can be used in a good way.
Do Not Increase the Waste By Throwing
Plastic
is avoided everywhere. It is better to carry bags from the house to purchase
things. There are many bottles, jars and tins which may be of no use after
using the contents. Such things can be used by us for any other purpose. Green
waste from the kitchen can be put into the compost bin to make fertilizer. This
compost can be used as manure for the plants.
Saving
energy is also an eco-friendly method. Utility bills will reduce by following
some rules. Pressure cookers, microwave ovens and inductions stoves have
considerably reduced the time of cooking and save a lot of energy. Robust steel
and cast iron products can be used in the kitchen which lasts long. Non-stick
utensils are not good for health and need to be avoided. Instead of paper
towels, it is better to use cloth towels.
There
are energy star ratings indicated on the present home appliances. It is better
to buy up to date products to save energy and time. These products may cost
more but in the long run, it saves money and gives more happiness.
