Realize the Health Benefits of Cranberries Everyday
Popular once a year at Thanksgiving we often forget about this little berry most of the year. Not as widely known, the cranberries second claim to fame has been its benefits to urinary tract hygiene. However, it has been recently discovered in laboratory studies that cranberries offer many other health benefits.
It appears that the cranberries posses a chemicals that are very effective in battling certain bacteria within our system. As such, these studies have found cranberries health benefits to include;

2) Reduction in the frequency or severity of Peptic ulcers that may be attributed to certain bacteria. It appears that cranberries reduce the bacteria's ability to adhere to the stomach lining.
Other studies have shown cranberries aid in the prevention of 'LDL' (low-density lipoprotein) from building up in our system. Thus, cranberries can help with heart disease because in simple terms they help to reduce the 'bad cholesterol' within our cardiovascular system.
Finally, the cranberry has been shown to be a strong natural antioxidant. Actually, the cranberry tested stronger than several other fruits and vegetables including broccoli and spinach. In General, antioxidants are known to be cancer fighting. Antioxidants help reduce the effects of aging on the body and human brain and essentially reduce the damage caused by free radical molecules.
