“TeslaCrypt blocks my computer without letting me using the PC properly. I’m almost driven nuts. My web browser was blocked by the ransomware the other day. I was totally freaked out by the fake information displayed by the virus.”

What is TeslaCrypt?

TeslaCrypt is categorized as a ransomware program that locks users’ computers and asks for a ransom paid to the creator of the malware for unlocking the infected PCs. It is a computer threat similar to FBI viruses. TeslaCrypt claims that the target computer is blocked by some security reasons, such as violation of copyrighted contents and violation of pornography materials. Please be wide-awake because the bogus information displayed by the malware is designed by the creator to scare users into paying for the fine to make profits. Users are demanded to pay a fine in a form of Pay Safecard or MoneyPak. The ransomware appears legitimate and reasonable. Many computer users are taken in and their money is taken away by cybercriminals to avoid being punished by law. However, they may disappointedly find that their PCs are still locked by the ransomware and nothing changes after the payment. People should know that the information in lock-screen page is not true and they have nothing to do with the illegal activities. They just need to ignore what the malware claims and find out effective methods to get rid of the threat. To remove the malware quickly, it is suggested that you use a malware removal tool to deal with the problem quickly.

Generally, TeslaCrypt is programmed with rootkit technology which is able to compromise computer security protections.
