Quick & Useful tips to help relieve anxiety & nervousness

Because of the rapidly and congested place we live, it's almost impossible to escape the clutches of stress on a regular basis. 

We can continue running, trying to make one thing or another occur, that also puts us under a lot of pressure and makes us feel nervous now and again. 

Again to clarify, we're not speaking about severe anxiety, because it's a recognised psychiatric problem, and there may be possible problems and triggers for it. We're going to talk about the general anxiety that each of us experiences after being overwhelmed by the daily operations assignments which we have or any other emotional or mental pressure that we may have. 

Today we know that stress is something that is going to happen to us, especially when we're in our adult life and have different responsibilities that we're just trying to learn to cope with. 

And yet if we do not take timely action to relieve stress and deal with feelings of anxiety, it can have some serious consequences for our body, our mind as well as our emotional health, and even relationships. 

Here are some efficient ways to relieve anxiety and stress so that you can enjoy a happy and resting life. 

    At the end of your work day, have a winding down routine. 

Most of us work in highly competitive corporate environments where we are under compression to be at the best and to finish the infeasible number of tasks that are expected of us. 

The climate is set up to enhance the senses and keep our brains active and engaged, during these times, many of us are working part time so that we have designed our homes in a way that stimulates our brainpower and helps us to be more efficient. 

This makes us stressful and depressed 24/7, as we have almost no work life balance and no private privacy for us to wind down and relax. 

For this cause, at the end of the day, or whenever you seem fit, you should try to have a winding down routine. It could be about an hour and more, but not less, and if it's supported by sleep, it's going to be extremely reinvigorating for you. 

When you wind down, make sure the mood is comfortable. Put on some favorite songs and turn out the lights, as it's safer for the brain to relax in a darker setting. Please keep your phones away or at least keep them in silent mode so that constant alerts do not disturb you. 

During that whole time, you can just rest, close your eyes and, if possible, try to get some relaxing sleep. 

     Get in touch with your loved ones and friends 

We, human beings, require warmth and love to nourish our souls, and therefore, when we are extremely stressed, there are times when we need the company of another human being.

 Being close to someone you can trust can ease your stress even if you don't talk to them about the kind of things that bother you. 

If you have youngsters, you may also want to spend some time with them, which will raise the level of happiness and release pain. 

If you have parents, you might want to speak to them and spend time in their company, as sometimes parents can offer a sense of safety and protection that no one else can afford.  

If you have a partner, you can try to connect with them in life to feel comfortable and get rid of the anxiety you feel due to work pressure. 

Many people have reported that sexual intercourse after a long day can make them feel comfortable and shift their focus to a more pleasant mind state.

Talk to people who could help you find a solution so that you don't get caught up in anxiety forever and ruin your health and wellbeing. 

Besides these things, if you have that kind of time, you can even try an audio diary or a video diary if writing isn't your cup of tea.

There are different types of meditation that you can try, including mindfulness that helps you stay in the current situation and allows you to focus on the moment, keeping you away from anxiety and stress. 

Doing something relieving and revitalising all day can help you cope with your anxiety and stress will help in the long run. If anything, you can try to eat a good meal and get a good night's sleep, trying to sleep solves most of the things, making your brain feel revitalised and strong. Keeping a tab on your mental health by ensuring that stress does not overpower you will benefit you for a long time to come.
