Sometimes, it is fun to have a spontaneous trip. However, there are still some things that need a lot of attention and preparation for to make sure that you have an enjoyable European trip.

Here are five important tips that will help you become a smart European traveler.

Book in Advance

Europe has tons of unique tours. There are river cruises, kosher touring agencies, bus tours, and more. But regardless of what you choose, booking in advance is the best way to make the most of your vacation.

Booking

You can also avail accommodations at a lower price if you book in advance. But before booking, make sure to check the reviews and additional charges.  Don’t allow yourself to be stuck in a cheap uncomfortable place.

Wear Comfortable Clothes

Walking is the best way to see the authenticity of the places you visit. Make sure you wear something that’s comfortable and not just for your OOTD (outfit of the day). In Europe, almost everything is closer than you think.

Pack Smart

Carrying your luggage several flights of stairs or extra baggage fees might ruin your vacation mood. To avoid that, make sure that you have a hand carry bag big enough to carry all the important stuff you need to bring, plus extra room for a few clothes.

Also, have a separate carry-on packet for your documents, power cords and converters, sunglasses and headphones, and other things you think are essential. Organizing your bag will save time and effort.

Always Plan the Restaurant

Your vacation is not complete without trying local and known food spots. However, most rookie vacation goers take chances by settling right away with the first restaurant they see.

Don’t be surprised if you are served with a pre-fixed food with a new taste and expensive price if you do this.

Instead, include the restaurants on your itinerary. Do your research on reviews online.

Spend More Time Outside

Tour

Europeans love going out, and if you want to explore real European culture, you should too! You can drop by a local grocery, prep something, bring along a picnic basket and eat outside. It’s budget-friendly and a fun way to switch things up instead of constantly dining out.
