With the installation of the application of Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator in Adobe Creative Suite like CS5 or CS6, there are chances that Adobe Application Manager will also get installed by the installation program. And, this Application Manager was previously termed as Adobe Updater. In most cases, users want this automatic updating feature, which will help them to check for new updates while notifying you about the same.

However, there are a few users who actually don’t want this application as they feel it is disturbing. So, if you are one of them, you have the option to disable it as well. In order to know the procedure, you can either take help by calling at Adobe contact number or just by going through the steps given below.

• At first, you need to open Adobe Application manager, followed by opening Windows Explorer. As there is a slight difference in the process of each Windows, you have check before proceeding further.

• If you are running Windows 8 or a 64-bit version of Windows 7, navigate to C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe\OOBE\PDApp\core. On the other hand, if you’re running a 32-bit version of Windows 7, navigate to C:\Program Files\Common Files\Adobe\OOBE\PDApp\core.

• Now, you need to double-click **PDApp.exe** to start the Adobe Application Manager.

• Moving on to the next step, you have to click on “Preference” button in order to proceed further with the disabling mode.

• Now, you need to disable update notification option by clicking on the box beside, and then make you click on “OK”.
