Prophet Walter Magaya Sermon: The Gift of Instinct (Part-2)
“Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and comes down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow of turning.” - (Scripture: James.1:17)
There are times when the regrets of our past life engulf us in way we start feeling ourselves of no use. We start cursing ourselves; stop interacting with our friends; confine ourselves from the world outside. This is something that drags us deep into the darkness. Gradually, it starts taking control of us; dictate our behavior, which usually affects our relationships adversely.
But, being a child of Jesus Christ, we should not forget that our Heavenly Father is with us; ready to take care of us. What we have to do is let Him take care of us. He will take out of the darkness. Each of His children is unique and special for Him.
Prophet Wagaya Magaya, the Man of God, preaches God’s Word with an ultimate goal to transform lives of the people who are oppressed and unaware of the fact that they are important to God. Prophet Magaya, in his latest sermon ‘The Gift of Instinct’ (Part-2) said, “You do not know that you are gifted but you are. One of the gifts we are born with is a gift of instinct, which enables you to know what to say and not what to say. It is a deeper word of knowledge, which directs you. This gift comes from God and it has been given to you. The gift of instinct enables you to do the right thing at the right time.”
“11 Now it happened as He went to Jerusalem that He passed through the midst of Samaria and Galilee. 12 Then as He entered a certain village, there met Him ten men who were lepers, who stood afar off. 13 And they lifted up their voices and said, “Jesus, Master, have mercy on us!”
14 So when He saw them, He said to them, “Go, show yourselves to the priests.” And so it was that as they went, they were cleansed.
15 And one of them, when he saw that he was healed, returned, and with a loud voice glorified God, 16 and fell down on his face at His feet, giving Him thanks. And he was a Samaritan.
17 So Jesus answered and said, “Were there not ten cleansed? But where are the nine? 18 Were there not any found who returned to give glory to God except this foreigner?” 19 And He said to him, “Arise, go your way. Your faith has made you well.” (Luke.17:11-19)
Prophet further said, “ The gift of instinct is the one that led the man in the scripture to go back and thank Jesus Christ. It is not everything that you should be taught but the gift of instinct must guide you. Others may argue that Jesus Christ told them to come back but it was instinct that made them to come back. Mistakes make us stronger and we must not despair.”
