Prophet Magaya Sermon – ‘Who Are You’

Scripture: Mathew 16 v 13-15

13 When Jesus came to the region of Caesarea Philippi, he asked his disciples, “Who do people say the Son of Man is?” 14 They replied, “Some say John the Baptist; others say Elijah; and still others, Jeremiah or one of the prophets.” 15 “But what about you?” he asked. “Who do you say I am?”16 Simon Peter answered, “You are the Messiah, the Son of the living God.”

According to Prophet Walter Magaya, founder of Prophetic, Healing and Deliverance Ministries (PHD Ministries) – a Bible-based ministry headquartered in Zimbabwe; the ministry aims at brining Physical, Spiritual and Economic deliverance to all who are oppressed by the devil. He says that a person can achieve success only if they know who they are.

In order to achieve triumph in life, first you need to know who you are and then work on improving yourself. Today, most of the people face failure because they do not know the truth about themselves. Society is filled by people who do not know who they are and live a lie. You need to search it out and find out who you are and work on improving yourself. Thousands live a lie today.

If you want to succeed, you need to know yourself. You need to execute a self-check. People around you are not accommodating you because of the way you look and present yourself. First you need to weed out all the bad habits inhibiting in you, and work on your weakness to emerge as a fine person.

Stop frowning at the people who come forward to correct you, embrace them instead. Listen to them and try to learn from them as much as you can to become a better version of you.

One should not use abuse language while addressing one’s peer group, friends and a family member. Don’t lower your dignity and other’s respect as well. Be humble to everyone; treat the people around you with respect, in a way that their self-respect is not hurt.

Never rank yourself so highly, be lifted do not lift yourself. There are people who have a better social and financial standing, so do not brag yourself or your status. A wrong character will not take you anywhere but lower your dignity. You need to be humble so that people feel free to work and talk to you. Time and chance happens to them all you need to seize the opportunity as it comes. You need to portray a character in which you can be invited again.

Work hard to translate your weakness into your strengths in order to achieve a remarkable success in your personal and professional life.
