Procedure of REAP 2015 Counselling
Through Rajasthan Engineering Admission Process or REAP counselling 2015, students will be able to get admission on the basis of their class XII marks and JEE Main 2015 scores. REAP 2015 Counselling Process in Detail-
There will be 2 separate merit lists that would be released by exam governing body. The First one would be based on the score of JEE Main 2015 while the second one would be on the basis of Class XII percentile score. The candidates who are invited to participate in the counselling and allotment process need to fill an application form which are available online only on the official website. These forms were available till 11th June 2015 and the instructions and schedule for the same are available on the website itself. Once you have filled the form, you will be allowed to mark choices of courses and colleges in the decreasing order of your respective preferences. Once frozen, the ordered choices cannot be changed. Thus, it is very important to mark the choices very carefully in the REAP 2015 Counselling.
After the choices are locked, he orb she would be allowed to assess the nature of allotment on the basis of the marks obtained by hem or her, options filled by him or her, seats available, reservation norms, and the upgradation or confirmation of seat. REAP 2015 Counselling- Reservation Norms
The Reservation Norms laid by the Rajasthan government would be offered to the candidates belonging to specific categories. Reservation offered to the candidates belonging to specific categories will be as per the following:
1. 16% seats are reserved for SC candidates
2. 12% seats are reserved for ST candidates
3. 21% seats are reserved for OBC-NC candidates
4. 1% are reserved for Specially Backward Class candidates of non-creamy layer
5. 3% are for PWD candidates
6. 25% seats are reserved for women candidates
7. 3% for dependents of Defence Killed or Ex-servicemen or Gallantry award winners
8. 45% prescribed seats from 12% ST quota will be for TSP in all institutions where ST reservation is provisioned.
