Preparation Tips For Foreign Medical Graduate Examination

FMGE exam is one of the popular exams in India which is conducted by the National Board of Examination. The exam was introduced on 15th March 2002 for the Indian citizens who are studying MBBS Abroad but after completion of the degree, they want to come back and practise in India for that student need to qualify Foreign Medical Graduate Examination. Students who qualify for the exam will be registered by MCI or the state medical council. 

It is one of the toughest exams which is mandatory for students to qualify to work in India. It is licensing exam which is conducted twice a year in June or December. Students can appear in this exam as many times as they want there is no limitation. Failed candidates can also reappear in the exam as many times as they want through the proper registration process. 

Exam Pattern Of FMGE Exam

Foreign Medical Graduate Examination is conducted through online mode in the English language. It has two sections, each section has 150 multiple choice questions each and the time duration for each section is 150 minutes. For each correct answer it has +1 and for a wrong answer or unattempted questions does not have any marks or there is no negative marking. In the FMGE exam, the MBBS syllabus is considered which includes all the subjects. Preparation Tips For Foreign Medical Graduate Examination

Full Knowledge Of Syllabus: The students should have in-depth knowledge of the syllabus and give equal importance to each section and try to cover the entire syllabus.

Make Your Notes: Students should make their notes which will give proper knowledge of each subject and be easy during the time of revision. 

Focus On Your Weak Areas: Try to give more to the sections in which you feel weak so try to focus on that section.

Consistent With Revision: Try to revise constantly so you could remember the later part also and divide your time accordingly that you have enough time for revision.

Attempt MCQs: You must attempt the maximum number of MCQs in the question paper. It helps you to score well in the field.

Appear In Mock Test: It is the best way to check your strength and accordingly you can prepare yourself. Try to appear in mock test regularly for practice.
