PNB names wilful defaulters owing Rs. 11,486 crore

PNBNew Delhi: Punjab National Bank, the second biggest state-run lender in India, on Tuesday issued a list of 913 wilful defaulters (including Kingfisher Airlines), with total outstanding dues of Rs. 11,486 crore.


Punjab National Bank (PNB) has added 8 defaulters to its February list to elevate the number of wilful defaulters to 913 as recorded on 31st March, 2016.

The huge wilful defaulters, in accordance with the list published by Punjab National Bank, include Kingfisher Airlines of the castled businessman Vijay Mallya with an outstanding of Rs. 597.44 crore.

The list was topped by Winsome Diamonds and Jewellery that stood at an outstanding of Rs. 900.06 crore. On the other hand, Forever Precious Jewellery & Diamonds stood at an outstanding of Rs 747.98 crore.

The other large defaulters include Zoom Developers standing at an outstanding of Rs. 410.18 crore and NAFED standing at an outstanding of Rs. 224.26 crore.

The other major wilful defaulters include MBA Jewellers (Rs 266.17 crore), Apple Industries (Rs 248.33 crore), S Kumar Nationwide (Rs 146.82 crore) Ramsarup Group companies (Rs 410.62 crore) and Rana group companies (Rs 169.36 crore).

PNB Share Price Forecast:

 

PNB Share Price opened at Rs. 91.15 and closed at Rs. 90.

 

The intraday high for the PNB share was recorded as Rs. 91.55, on the other hand the intraday low was recorded as Rs. 89.50.
