PMH Awarded with The Nationally Recognized Clinical Quality Awards for The Second Time

Reading, CA (October 30, 2021) - The remarkable clinical services provided by Prospect Medical Hospitals were recognized with five-star ratings in seven Healthgrades surveys. Earlier this year, Healthgrades announced the commencement of its 2021 National Study. Approximately 4500 hospitals from throughout the country were evaluated for their performance as part of this study. There were 32 categories in which the awards were given out. Prospect Hospitals got 25 five-star quality awards out of the total number of awards awarded. Many of these honors were given out in recognition of consistently good performance over some years. In addition, four Los Angeles community hospitals were recognized with four specialized excellence awards in pulmonary and gastrointestinal care.

 

Prospects Hospitals has received recognition in the past as well. In 2018, four Prospect Hospitals in Southern California were recognized as being in the top 5 percent of hospitals in patient safety. Among the facilities that gained this honor are the Southern California Hospital at Culver City, the Southern California Hospital at Hollywood, the Los Angeles Community Hospital at Norwalk, and the Los Angeles Community Hospital at Culver City Medical Center.
