Pier59 Studios Reveals Designer Lineup
Skylight at Moynihan Station and Skylight Clarkson Sq. might be the two official New York Fashion Week venues, but these spaces aren't the only places hosting a slew of runway shows this season.
Pier59 Studios, located on Manhattan's West side, recently announced its New York Fashion Week lineup for the spring/summer 2016 season. The schedule was created in collaboration with Christina Neault, who was named Pier59 Studios' first-ever fashion programming consultant in July.
Pier59 Studios' spring/summer 2016 lineup includes: Berenik, Cadet, Custo Barcelona, Degen, Fashion Palette, Flagpole Swim by Megan Balch andJaime Barker, Frankie B, GenArt Fresh Faces in Fashion, Giulietta, Harlem's Fashion Row, Jay Godfrey, Julianna Bass, Karen Walker, Lie Sangbong, Mathieu Mirano, Michael Costello, Nolcha, Pamplemousse, Parkchoonmoo, Prmitv World, Sheena Trivedi, Stella Nolasco, threeASFOUR and Whit.

"When we opened Pier59 Studios, we envisioned it becoming a center of art, fashion and creativity," Pier59 Studios CEO Federico Pignatelli said in a press release.
"Twenty years later we are thrilled to have realized the dream. We welcome these talented designers and look forward to a very successful fashion week."
Pier 59 Studios, which was was founded in 1995 by Pignatelli and the Art and Fashion Group Corp., is celebrating its 20th anniversary this year. The 100,000-square-foot space boasts 10 column-free studio spaces, including a 5,500 square-foot sound stage created for live performances, special events and video and commercial projects.
"The opportunity to collaborate with Pier59 Studios as it celebrates its 20th anniversary year is exciting," Neault said.
"Pier59 Studios is a staple of the fashion industry, and the work it has produced over the years is defining. I am proud to be a part of the team orchestrating its next steps, especially during this celebratory year," she added.
