Overall Body Detoxification

by Smart Business abcd

When the body is unwell, the internal balance, or ph can become upset. The body does what it can to handle the additional acid produced. When it is unable to keep up, digestive disease occurs. This disease is caused by bad eating habits, consuming processed foods, intake of sugar, caffeine, salt, and pharmaceutical drugs.  Even emotional factors such as depression and stress play a role.  Then of course there are factors such as lack of exercise, fatigue, and environmental pollutants.

How can we prevent digestive disease before it ever happens?

In order to keep your car running well for as long as possible, the oil must be changed regularly.  Likewise, we must cleanse our digestive system with programs such as a focused colon cleanse and special cleansing diets.  In addition, positive modifications to our living habits and even our thinking can produce incredible improvement.

Of course, any kind of meaningful change takes time, and taking care of your health is no different.  It took your body many years to accumulate built up toxins.  Similarly, proper and thorough detoxification takes time.  This is not able to be accomplished overnight.

Two main organs, the colon and liver, commonly accumulate toxins and therefore need to be cleansed.

How to cleanse your colon

Detoxification of the colon – while completing a focused colon cleanse, eat additional fresh raw fruits & vegetables.  We suggest at least 4 servings per day. The more wide-ranging the colors, the better the results you’ll experience.  The most immediate improvement will be relief of constipation.

How to improve liver health

Detoxification of liver – once constipation is relieved the next step is detoxifying the liver. Milk thistle is a very effective herb clinically tested to support a healthy liver.  Additionally, follow our liver cleanse diet to further support liver health.

As toxins leave the body, it is not uncommon to experience certain symptoms.  These symptoms can actually indicate that proper detoxification is occurring.  Symptoms such as low-grade fever, mobilization of mucous, slight headaches, weakness, quick weight loss, and mild nausea or diarrhea may occur.  Again, this can be a sign that your body is naturally detoxifying.  As always, consult a physician if you experience symptoms of concern.  And of course, we’re here to help answer your questions and provide support along the way.
