"I think that it's a borderline groundbreaking thing, which is kind of cool,"Broad said.
The Orlando Ballet is presenting "Beauty and the Beast" this weekend at the Dr.Phillips Center for the Performing Arts. Tickets start at $44.
The ballet, Broad said, isn't a "carbon copy" of the 1991 Disney animated film in ballet form.
Broad and the show's makeup designer Nicole Dupre stopped by the WESH 2 studios Thursday to talk about the ballet and the effort that goes into putting on such a large production.
