NoiseBank officially launches new platform for artists to upload promote and share their originally-created
music
Artists who have been looking to expand their network now
have a reason to smile. A new platform called NoiseBank has been created to help artists upload, promote and share their
originally-created music and in the process earn revenue. NoiseBank is
developing NoiseBank 2.0 with new security measures, better speed, better
design, and improved performance. The platform will be more social and will
have many new features. The developers are also working on apps for popular
platforms like iOS and Android.
To earn revenue, the site will display ads. 90 percent of the
revenue earned from these ads will be shared with the subscribers. However, if
everything goes as they have planned, they will increase the artists’ share to
99 percent of the total revenue earned by the site. Using NoiseBank will be
free and with time, the developers will introduce ways that will increase
earnings for the artists. And after the launch they will add features that will
enable artists to pre-sell, market, and distribute their music projects by
setting up their own crowdfunding pages which will also be free. They will also
add podcasts.
Artist who will
create account with NoiseBank
will be required to provide information that is complete and accurate. If not,
their use of the service will be terminated. The artists will be provided with
passwords that they can use to access the service and for any actions or
activities they want to perform on the site. The artists will be responsible
for safeguarding their passwords and they will not be allowed to disclose the
passwords to third parties.
The platform will allow artists to store, post, link and
share and also make available certain information like videos, text, graphics
or other materials. The artists will be responsible for the content that they
post, including appropriateness, reliability, and legality. But once the
content is posted, the developers will have the license and right to publicly
perform, publicly display, modify, reproduce and distribute it through the
service. However, the artists will retain any or all of their rights to any
content they submit, display or post on the platform and they will be
responsible for protecting such rights.
Artists will be allowed to post only there original works.
That’s why copyright owners or those authorized on behalf of one and believe
that their copyrighted works have been copied in a way that constitutes an
infringement of their copyright will be required to submit their notice in
writing to the developers so that such contents, if found to be truly
infringing on copyrights, can be brought
down. The NoiseBank’s campaign is currently running on Indiegogo and can be
