Nissan is the Japanese automobile company, which has specialized in manufacturing cars, trucks, etc., and Nissan India is the Indian subsidiary of the original Nissan, which has been incorporated in 2005. As the car market in India is constantly expanding, Nissan, like the other manufacturers, has been engaged in creating cars specifically for Indian customers and Indian roads. A few cars of Nissan India:

Nissan Micra

Launched in 2010 in six colors, and costing between5.33-7.50 lakhs, the Micra has definitely made heads turn. The petrol variants give a mileage of 18.44-19.34 km/l, while the diesel one gives a mileage of 23.o8 km/l. The Micra, seeming like a different name for micro, is definitely small enough to be handled comfortably on the Indian roads, apart from the fact that it looks chic and suave.

Nissan Sunny

This is a sedan, launched in 2011, bigger than the Micra, looking very sleek, again available in petrol and diesel variants, costing between 7.58-10.50 lakhs, which is reasonable, for cars of this size. The petrol mill delivers a mileage of 19.95-17.97 km/l, while the diesel variant gives a mileage of 22.71 km/l. This car is incorporated with special features like follow-me-home headlight, steering mounted control and automatic AC. Alos Check About Datsun Go Plus Visit Autoportal.com

Nissan Evalia

Nissan Evalia is a bigger sized car, a seven-seater, launched in 2012, hoping to be a competitor to Innova and Xylo. Priced at 9.30-12.44 lakhs, this vehicle is available in diesel variant only. The mileage of this car is a decent 19.3 km/l, with its 1.5 liter, K9K turbocharged diesel engine. It is also spacious enough for Indian families. The disc and drum brakes for the front and back tires, apart from the hydraulic system and ABS with EBD and brake-assist make this car easy to drive on any condition of the road.

Nissan Terrano

The Terrano, launched in September 2013, is the SUV of Nissan. The Terrano costs between Rs. 9.99-13.15 lakhs. It is sold in 6 diesel variants, with a mileage of 19.01-20.45 km/l and a lone petrol variant, whose mileage is 13.24 km/l. This is a rugged SUV, perfect for any terrain, and hence the name ‘Terrano’. The diesel engine of the Terrano is 1.5 liter K9K dCi one, producing a power of 108.5 bhp and a torque of 248 Nm. The petrol mill is a 1.6 liter MPFI one, churning a power of 102.6 bhp and torque of 145 Nm.

Nissan Micra Active

A revamped version of the Micra, the Micra Active is the latest hatchback from Nissan. It is lighter than the Micra and has been launched only in petrol variant. The mileage is a super 19.49 km/l and this car costs between 4.56-5.11 lakhs, which is a good value for money, when compared to other hatchbacks.
