New iPhone dock Lightning to strangle the iPhone accessories makers?

It is now a fact known to everyone that the fresh iPhone 5 will sport the new digital, 8-pin Lightning dock, which is one of the major changes between the new iPhone and its predecessors. Compared with the old 30-pin dock which has lingered on Apple products for so long, the 8-pin Lightning dock appears smaller, saving more space for other parts and will be more endurable, allowing less stuff intruding in. However, a very tiny chip inside the Lightning has denied the access of numerous unauthorized iPhone accessories makers in making the relating docks and adaptors.

All the unauthorized accessories makers will be unable to manufacture the peripheral products with the new dock since, since only the Apple’s authorized peripherals manufacturers are allowed to purchase the specialized chips used in the Lightning. It shows clearly that a raft of unauthorized accessories makers will be driven out of this play unless that chip can be jail broken, which might be finally be achieved by those who loves challenges.
