New Book 'The Small Business Digital Manager' Launches Brand New Digital Career

by PRC Agency PR

A newly released book by Martin Aranovitch called The Small Business Digital Manager launches the beginning of a brand new digital career for people seeking new opportunities to help small businesses get better results online.

The book is based on three compelling premises.

The first premise is that most small businesses are grossly unprepared to compete online successfully. According to Martin, "many small businesses struggle to get better results online because they lack the time, resources, technical expertise, and digital skills to manage and grow an effective digital presence."

This leads to the second premise of the book, which is that many small businesses outsource their digital processes but confuse 'outsourcing' with 'abdication' and end up giving away control of their digital presence to others. As Martin puts it, "many small businesses also lack strategic planning and systems to manage their digital processes, including outsourcing. As a result, many develop an unmanageable digital presence as soon as they take their business online and end up as 'hostages' of their service providers."

As the book explains, this creates a paradoxical dilemma: if a small business lacks the time and skills to manage their digital processes and market their digital presence effectively and outsourcing leads to further loss of control, then what's the solution?

According to Martin, the solution and third premise of The Small Business Digital Manager is that "small businesses need a 'hands on' person who will manage their digital processes and do the work that they are too busy or lack the skills to do or outsource properly. Someone who will step into their business, get things done, and deliver the results they need to grow and remain competitive in the digital age."

As Martin puts it, "pressure from global competition means that small businesses have no other choice but to embrace the digital age. This requires being able to manage and control their digital presence and the only way they can do this effectively is to employ a small business digital manager or train someone in their business to assume this role."

The Small Business Digital Manager provides a systematic approach that anyone can use to help a small business get better results online with no technical expertise or web coding skills. This approach involves providing eight 'hands-on' services that will deliver the business 'done for you' results. These services include understanding the needs of the business and developing a sound digital strategy and strategic plans, implementing effective systems to organize and document digital processes, and looking after their digital management, content creation, and digital marketing to help drive more traffic and leads to their website, improve their search engine rankings, and increase their conversions.

Martin has spent over a decade helping small businesses build an effective digital presence using the systems and methods described in the book and describes the role of the small business digital manager as representing "an immense and untapped global opportunity for people to build a profitable and rewarding career helping small businesses get better results from their digital presence."

The Small Business Digital Manager is available on Amazon.com and is also being developed as an online training course. For more information about the book or the course, visit https://smallbusinessdigitalmanager.com.
