NEET 2017 Complete Details

NEET 2017, or National Eligibility cum Entrance Test will be conducted by Central Board of Secondary Education for providing the admission to the candidates in MBBS/ BDS courses. The candidates those who qualify the exam will be able to take admission in the government and private colleges in India. As usual, the exam will be conducted in the month of May. NEET 2017 Important Dates:

The NEET 2017 application form for the exam will be available from the first week of December 2016. The candidates can submit their application form till the last week of December 2016 and with late fees the form can be submitted till the last week of January 2017. The admit card for the exam will be available from the first week of April 2017. NEET 2017 will be conducted in the first week of May 2017. The result for the exam can be checked in the first week of June 2017 and the counselling will be conducted after the announcement of the result.

NEET 2017 Eligibility Criteria:

The candidates those who want to appear in the exam will have to make sure that they are eligible as well. Without being eligible, their application will not be accepted. To be eligible for NEET 2017, the candidates will have to satisfy all the eligibility conditions for the exam.

These conditions are:

1.     The candidate must be an Indian or Overseas Citizen of India.

2.    The minimum and the maximum age of the candidate must be 17 years and 25 years respectively. Relaxation of 5 years is applicable for the candidates of reserved categories.

3.    The candidates must have passed class XII or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/ Bio-technology, English as the main subjects.

4.    They must have also secured 50% marks in PCB group. 5% and 10% relaxation for the candidates of General PH and SC, ST, OBC categories respectively.

NEET 2017 Application Procedure:

The candidates those who are eligible for the exam can submit their application via online mode only. The application for NEET 2017 will not be available via any offline mode. To access the form, the candidates will have to visit the official website of the CBSE. They must go through the general instructions prior to filling the form so as to avoid any mistake in the form. After completing the application form, the candidates will have to send the confirmation page along with the required documents to the below mentioned address:
