Educational Qualification
- Project Scientist I: Masters’ Degree in Science/Environment Sciences or equivalent
- Project Scientist I: Masters’ Degree in Management / Fisheries/ Social Sciences
- Project Associate: Masters' Degree Marine Biology or equivalent and 1 year of relevant experience
- Field Assistant: A pass 10th standard or equivalent
Age Criteria
Applier’s age must meet the age criteria as per organization’s norms and upper age will be relaxed (only reserved categories) according to the association’s rules.

Selection Process
- Selection of the contenders will be made on the basis of their performance in walk-in- Interview which is conducted by the norms of the government
- No TA/DA shall be paid for attending the interview.
Way to Apply
- Candidates are required to log on to the official website that is www.ncscm.res.in
- Now, hit on “Careers” link that is available on right side at top.
- After that, have to choose “Walk in Interview for Selection of Project Staff (HR01/2017) – (Open)” link and then press on “Download Detailed Advertisement” link.
- Read the notification carefully, then go back to the previous page
- Now press “Apply Online” tab, now log on your email id -> login to your account.
- Application form will be display on your digital screen read once and fill it with complete details in correct manner.
- After filling the form you must upload scanned recent passport size passport size photograph, age proof, education qualification and additional qualification certificate (if any).
- After completion with application form, “Submit it”.
- Once the whole procedure is completed your application will be submitted for the recruitment.
- Candidates are requested to take a print out of the application form for interview
