Our duty is to
encourage everyone in his struggle to live up to his own highest idea and
strive at the same time to make the ideal as near as possible to the truth - Swami Vivekananda
It is no surprise that the youth plays a major role in development of any country. India too has a decent amount of population that belongs to the youth section. Modern India has recognized the potentials that our young generation holds. In 1984 the Government of India declared the Swami Vivekananda birthday as the National Youth Day and since 1985 the event is celebrated in India every year on January 12.
Swami Vivekananda is the pioneer of modern India. His contributions towards the development of our society is a great source of inspiration for our youth. His philosophies and works have inspired the youth for decades now.
As his teachings have helped build our country’s modern face, youth is considered to be the torchbearer of change. The dynamic section of our society, requires our attention to nurture the youth mentally and physically. It is believed that today’s young learners are tomorrow’s leaders but this calls for our attention. Just like a sapling needs good amount of care, our youth too need to be taken care of. It is of utmost importance that we provide our young minds with proper nutritious meals and opportunities to hone their skills. More than ever before the importance of youth empowerment has become a grave matter, as it determines the upcoming days of our nation. The future is in the hands of the youth and that sufficient amount of opportunities should be provided to them so as to progress the country’s development.
The mind and body of our young ones are the temple of lot of capabilities and it needs to follow the proper diet. The food calorie chart should comprise nutrients such as minerals, vitamins and healthy fats. Enormous researches have revealed that a good meal can help the young minds realise their true potentials and makes them perform at their level best. As the National Youth Day is around the corner, it is time for us to bring more ideas and innovation to make life better for our young ones.
Understanding the increasing demand of better infrastructure, the Government of India has acknowledged the need of the hour and launched the Skill India campaign in 2015. The aim is to train more than 40 crore people in India and support their dreams with better opportunities. But all these efforts will accelerate when we start supporting each and every young minds and let them know that the country cares for their needs and growth.
