My 20 Secret Advice To Newbies
1. You will not acquire success overnight. Success is no accident. Its hard work and perseverance. Success only comes to those who truly want it and earnestly seek it out and work for it.
2. To succeed, you have to believe in yourself. Learn study and develop skills. Take risks and dare to try. Do new things and push yourself beyond all the limitations you previously thought held you down and move forward!
3. Spend your time wisely. Stop doing what doesn't work, and start doing what do work.
4. Stop focusing on knowledge acquisition Do not believe that the more you acquire freebies, Video’s or other secret sauce, the more you will be able to start your business. In internet marketing you never feel that you are ready.
5. Everything changes quickly on the net. Focus on “doing activities”. Learn by doing.
6. Take action. It is the road to success. No more victim mentality, no more excuses If you are uncomfortable in taking action, you won’t go far in that industry.
7. For each constraint there is a solution. If you can’t do something, look for it on YouTube or look for people that can do the job for you in return for payment ex:(Fiverr.com, Elance, etc).
8. Allocate enough money on traffic. Do not ask yourself how much you can spend on advertising but rather how much you can afford to get a customer. More importantly, do not go for free traffic where mostly no one ever reads. Go straight to paid traffic. Paid traffic provides targeted people that are willing to buy to your blog/website. It is faster, scalable and predictable.
9. There is no such thing as free traffic. All traffic has a cost be it time or money. How you spend and values time defines your freedom and wealth. Better spend a few minutes on paid ads rather than hours on free traffic which may not convert at all.
10. When you start an online business, focus on what is going to bring you revenues. Then, create a system that works (converts). If you don’t have visitors to your site that converts, you are doomed to fail.
11. The two most important priority in this business is:
· Convert visitors into customers/sales.
· Get targeted traffic. (an investment not an expense)
12. A poorly designed website (sales funnel) won’t convert visitors into customers even if you send 1 million visitors to your site.
13. You are wrong when you say you get traffic but they don’t convert. If you get traffic to your site everyday and you haven’t made any sale after some time, the problem is not traffic but your website. It is no converting into sales.
14. You are completely wrong if you believe that make money online is all about getting traffic. True traffic=money but this is somewhat true only if your marketing and sales mechanism can extract sales from that traffic.
15. Traffic=clicks, but not all clicks are equal and this is a common mistake most of us do. A $2 click can worth more to your business that a 10 cents click – based on how they convert.
16. Targeted traffic is in small quantities but are highly responsive. General traffic is in larger quantities but less targeted. They are usually less responsive.
17. People fail online because they focus on traffic not on conversion (attractive and irresistible proposal). They fail to realize that even if they were to get tons of traffic and clicks, most of that traffic won’t convert if not all.
18. Don’t ask yourself: how do I get more sales but instead ask yourself how do to make more profitable sales. By so doing, you are thinking about a website that converts visitors into sales right from the beginning.
19. The only way to succeeds online is when you get traffic that converts into sales:
Traffic + Conversion = Sales.
Unless you have conversion, you won’t be able to make any sale even if you get lots of traffic. So, think about conversion first before you even think about sending traffic to your website.
20. Success is entirely up to you. Think about this: 92% of new marketers fail simply because they do not take what they are doing seriously. If you want to be one of the 8% that makes it online ,then invest yourself 100% to this business and adopt practices that will bring a real return on your investments. To succeed, you need to GET OUT THERE AND MAKE IT HAPPEN.
