Mumbai: Water Supply To Be Hit In Parts Of Borivali, Dahisar On May 5-6; Get Details Here

certain areas of R Central and R North, wards of Mumbai. These wards include
parts of Borivali West.
Based on accounts, the water
supply in Mumbai’s Borivali West could be impacted from 11.55 pm on Thursday,
May 5 to 11.55 pm on Friday, May 6.
It has been reported that the
water supply could be hit owing to the diversion of a 1500 mm diameter aqueduct
which is the Vallabh Nagar outlet on the Link Road’s east side in front of
Borivali West area’s R Central section’s Aura Hotel.
The Brihanmumbai Municipal
Corporation’s (BMC)
R North Ward took to Twitter to share that from Thursday, May 5, 2022, at 11.55
pm to Friday, May 6, 2022, at 11.55 pm, water supply will be cut off in some
areas of Borivali and Dahisar.
A comprehensive list of details
given includes:
Charkop, Gorai, Axar, Shimpoli,
Wazira and the entire Borivali (West) Division - Regular water supply from 7.10
pm to 9.40 pm and from 11.50 am to 1.50 pm. However, the water supply will be
closed on 6 May 2022 during work.
LIC Colony, Axar Village, Dahisar
Village, Kanderpada, Link Road and the entire Dahisar (West) Division - Regular
water supply from 9.40 pm to 11.55 pm. However, water supply will be cut off on
06 May 2022 during work.
The civic authority has urged the
locals to store the requisite amount of water a day prior to the water cut in
the mentioned period. In addition to this, they have asked that water be
utilized sparingly during the cut period.
