Maharashtra Public Service Commission is authorized to execute various written examination/test in order to select eligible candidates among those large numbers of applicants appeared. Paper I (General Studies);

Part-I (General Introduction of Madhya Pradesh);

Part-II (Culture, Literature, Music, Dance, Arts and History of Madhya Pradesh);

Culture, Literature, Music & Dance Tradition, Arts, Major Scheduled Tribes, Programmes of State Government in the field of Culture Archaeological Heritage, Historical perspective of Madhya Pradesh

Exam Pattern & Syllabus for MPSC State Services Examination

MPSC Preliminary Exam Pattern: The pattern of Preliminary exam is: The Paper 1 & 2 both Exam will have total of 200 Marks Objective types of questions and time allotted for exam will be 2 Hours each.

MPSC Main Exam Pattern: MPSC has done some changes in MPSC Main Exam Pattern. Now there will be 4 papers of General Studies and 2 compulsory papers of Marathi & English.  

Their sum of No of Questions are 150 Marks for each Paper in GS Paper 1 (History and Geography), GS Paper 2 (Indian Constitution and Politics), GS Paper 3 (Human Resource Development and Human Rights) & GS Paper 4 (Economics and Science & Technology) sections and paper type will be Objective.

Compulsory Marathi & English section will be having Total 100 Marks for each Paper and paper type will be Descriptive.
